  1. This engine hasn't been run for two years prior to this. The smoke is from oils and dirt burning off that accumulated on the exhaust manifold and head from changing the head gasket. When you do major work on an engine, oil gets on your hands, and you touch other parts of the engine, then when you start the engine, it burns off for a few minutes. Also these engines are loud when they're cold, especially when they have 190,000 miles. The car is daily driven to this day and the engine is a little quieter.

  2. At 17:31 what is the silver sprocet to the right.

  3. You're wrong on rear balance pulley the notch has to go at 12 a clock and the dot on the pulley has to go at 5 a clock.

  4. 3 things you need to know about early Hondas… gap the lifters ! or you'll burn valves.second, NEVER turn the motor backwards, you'll skip the timing belt on the crank shaftthird , only rotate the motor on the balancer nut with plugs out when gapping

  11. was this car in a flood ? why is it so corroded ?

  12. did this really take you about 20 minutes?

  13. everything looks rusted.

  14. How do u tighten the balance shaft belt should the balance shaft belt tensioner arm be mobile

  15. I have a question. Currently 17mm ish nut is stripped out on my car. Is it possible to move a driver side engine mount bracket bolt without removing nut? Looks like your video skipped the taking out th ebracket, I see no bolt are on it when you trying to take out cam gear 5:31. So I guess it is possible to do but can you give me some tip to remove the bolt? Thanks for the Video. A image of side engine mount bolt looks like : https://cl.ly/2U2q39101Y0V

  16. IMAGINE A BELT THAT CAN JUST BE OPENED, PLACED ON, THEN PRESSED CLOSED. WHO WILL BE THE FIRST TO PATENT IT?

  17. try using a go pro man. really hard to watch you struggle using 1 hand. you edit the video poorly. you skip the important parts that require 2 hands. come on man.

  19. whats it called i think its a intanke manifold i think you need one

  20. I had my '97 Accord belt replaced after 80K miles because the car was 15 years old. The mechanic saved the old belt and it was so new looking and free of any visible cracks or wear that I was afraid he didn't bother changing it and just gave me a new belt instead. Did I waste my money or was it good insurance against failure to change the belt proactively since I plan to keep the car another 15 years? All opinions welcome!
